Our wide range of tree services in the Northern Rivers includes:
Safely removing all types of trees of all sizes and in all locations. We’ll take care of any applications to local government (if needed), as well as expert stump grinding.
We remove palms from nature strips, commercial premises, homes and other areas. We can also assess the health of your palm trees and recommend the best methods to help them grow.
We can safely remove all types of deadwood, eliminating any potential hazards and pest infestations, as well as ensuring minimal environmental impact on surrounding fauna.
Weight reduction can benefit certain types of trees, strengthening them against extreme weather conditions, and prolonging their lifespan rather than removing them. Crown lifting creates more space between the ground and lower branches, reducing the amount of maintenance required, as well as clearing up any possible obstructions.
When it comes to tree removal in the Northern Rivers, different councils will have different rules applying to certain types of trees and removal works. At Lennox Head Tree Care, when necessary, we can assist with all communication with council, including permits, applications, and related paperwork.
For further info regarding council rules in your area, contact your local council. Alternatively, give us a call today to see how we can assist you.

Different rules apply in different parts of the Shire depending on the zoning of the land under the applicable local environmental plan. In general, consent may be required for the removal of large trees in urban areas and for the clearing of native vegetation in rural and environmental protection areas. You should seek advice prior to starting any work on private land that is likely to impact on native or non-native vegetation (including weeds). Contact Council's Planning and Environmental Health Division for further information on what rules apply to vegetation on your land and whether or not a development approval is required, telephone 1300 864 444.

Under Lismore City Council's Tree Preservation Order (TPO) you must apply for Council consent to remove or prune certain trees. Fruit trees and weeds are generally exempt from the TPO. We recommend you contact the Council to confirm which trees you may prune or remove as strict penalties apply for infringements of the TPO.
